The Beginning

The Omen began 18 years ago. A terrifying solar eclipse engulfed the skies above Asia. From this gaping darkness, a vicious torrent of meteors hurtled down, leaving a wake of smoldering rubble and scorched earth.

Chaos and paranoia swept over Asia, forcing the rest of the world to quarantine the continent, an island onto itself.

Two years later, from this apocalyptic wreckage, a clandestine organization known only as the Sacred Financial Group ascended to power, shrouded in myth and mystery, brimming with untold wealth and influence.

The Group would found four schools, each one unique in its own way: Sacred Gate, Mystic Peak, Phoenix, and Leonine Campus.

Only the smartest, strongest, fittest students were recruited to these institutions. Yet beneath its quiet façade of learning and academia, an unsettling truth began to surface. These were no ordinary schools. Their infrastructures, rising menacingly above all others, were strange and alien in design, as if echoing an ominous, inescapable fate.

Suspicion grew. Where these sports institutions meant to breed a new generation of genetically-enhanced athletes? Where they military centers meant to recruit and train bio-engineered soldiers?

Soon, rumors began to spread about the alarming activities conducted within the four campuses. Students, they said, were being trained in cryptic, deadly forms of combat beyond the understanding of even the military’s most accomplished intelligence agencies; they were studying forbidden scrolls and texts believed to hold incomprehensible, supernatural power—power to create as well as destroy; and being taught the use of weapons exiled long ago for their genocidal role in the Ancient Wars.

The question was: Why? Why train these students in such brutal arts?

The answer would arrive with startling implications. A dimensional riff some attribute to the meteor storm had opened the gates to a demonic realm, poisoning the living and possessing the dead.

Only the four schools proved immune to this paranormal plague. Force shields were believed to protect the boundaries of the four schools and its students, keeping them safe within the schools’ borders.

The shields, however, were beginning to show signs of weakness. There were reports of creatures infiltrating school grounds and of students being taken almost daily, never to be seen again.

It was only a matter of time…

Leonine in the East was the first of the four to fall; its entire student populace devoured seemingly overnight, the campus left a graveyard of memory.

Of those who have attempted to brave the haunted campus grounds of Leonine since, few have returned, and those that have, spike tremulously of a presence so dark, so evil, it would in time, come to destroy all mankind.

So many questions remain unanswered. What caused the meteor shower? From what dimension did this supernatural evil originate from? How did the Sacred Financial Group know of the storm’s destructive, malevolent power?

Today, everything is calm and peaceful at the three schools, even as they wonder which of them is next.

When will their time come? How long will their shields hold?

For now, the students continue their studies.

Waiting.

Training.

Praying...

Campus Intro

Four campuses are located at all four directions- East, West, South and North respectively. The entire structures of the building are designed to block all the outside forces and it looks like a castle that was made for defense purpose. On the First floor it will be protected at all time no matter what might happen, so the students here are safe. Ultimately, the students from all four campuses have the same missions, as a result, all students must cooperate to accomplish the missions and they are not allow to fight with other students in the campus zone. But if the purpose is for practice purposes, then players can duel with other characters.

  • In the game, players can choose one out of the three campuses - Sacred Gate, Mystic Peak and Phoenix to start their game.
  • Character chosen in different campus will have different uniforms.
  • All the requirements in killing mobs and level up are the same in all campuses.
  • All three campuses have 4 types of Class (Brawler, Swordman, Archery, and Shaman) to choose from.

Brawler

To most people, Brawler section is considered a primitive, outdated course. This, however, is a grave misconception. To major in Brawler, students must harness latent powers stored deep within their bodies. Only students demonstrating high strength and coordination test scores qualify for this course, as Brawlers have shunned all armed conflict, choosing instead to embrace Brawler in its purest, basest form.

Brawler Fighters can choose to minor in Fist Strikes, where they learn to channel their kinetic energy into lightning-quick pugilistic attacks. These Brawler students who focus on hand speed tend to rely on the violent volume of their rapid-fire, two-fisted strikes to knock out their opponents. In contrast, Brawler Fighters who minor in Kick Strikes concentrate on their kicking power, which may be slower and more deliberate, but deal more damage. For these Brawler Fighters, one spinning leg strike, delivered with powerful precision, is often all they need to end a fight.

Students of this course will eventually become masters of close range Brawler, the brutal poetry of their movement a sight to behold. That is, if you can see it.

Swordsman

The Art of the Swordsman, once banished for its role in numerous bloody conflicts, has been reinstated in the schools’ curriculum. However, only applicants who tested highly in both strength and agility can apply to this course.

Students in this course must develop not only their strength but their dexterity as well, in order to perform the various, intricate, high-stakes Swordsman play demanded by their discipline, where the slightest error in judgment can have dire consequences not only for their opponents, but for themselves as well.

By honing their dexterity, some Swordsmen choose to minor in Blades, using these lighter, shorter weapons to create a higher defense radius for themselves, where they can thrust and parry with ease and flow, even as they sacrifice low base damage.

Some Swordsmen, on the other hand, choose to minor in Broadswords. This minor limits their defensive abilities but also multiplies their offensive output, so that when an opponent does meet the end of their blade, the blow is swift, clean, and most of all, final.

Either minor is equally formidable in higher grade levels but be warned—for those who major in Swordsmanship, theirs is a life lived not only on the edge but by the edge.

Archery

The course of Archery is perhaps the most artistic of the four courses, an enchanting visual symphony of flying arrows and twanging bows.

Applicants to Archery must show high dexterity and agility test scores to pass the course.

Archery students can choose to minor in Short Bows, which produce higher minimum damage to start off with and are extremely accurate; or Long Bows, which deal higher maximum damage at higher grade levels but can be prone to misses.

Graduates of Archery boast that the mark of a true archer is that they never miss one.

Shaman

The fusion between martial arts and Qi-- the energy that flows through and around the human body, physically and psychically— is a difficult idea to comprehend for outsiders to the practice of Shaman, but for those students who choose this course, this much they know: one cannot exist without the other. The most powerful martial arts are driven by Zen-like spirituality and the most powerful magic effected only through flawless physical execution.

Students of Shamanism must grade highly in both intelligence and agility.

Accomplished Shamans are students who can sway the fate of entire battles with a myriad of skills and abilities. Shaman students can minor in Spears, which gives them heightened attack power but prevent them from using spells. To cast spells, Shaman students need to minor in Wands, which allows them to cast powerful healing and buffering spells in support of fellow students.

It always helps to have Shaman in your class because, as you will realize soon enough during your tenure on campus, the balance of your existence may depend on them
