Summary

Digimon Adventure 02 (2000), also commonly written as Digimon 02/Digimon Zero Two, is the sequel to the previous season. This series was a direct continuation of the original Adventure series. The original DigiDestined have grown up into junior high school students (except for Kari and T.K.). Davis, Yolei, and Cody join T.K. and Kari in attempting to protect the Digital World against a human who calls himself "The Digimon Emperor/Kaiser."

The series introduced many changes. The gate was opened via the D-3 (the new Digivice model) and the DigiDestined only fought on the weekends or after school. Later in the series the fighting comes over the real world. The series ends with an epligoue that is projected 25 years in the future. For this season, Kari and T.K. still have their Digimon from the last season. Davis teams up with Veemon (V-Mon in the Japanese version), Yolei teams up with Hawkmon, and Cody with Armadillomon. Several other Digidestined from around the world were also seen in the later part of this season.
